The school provides the best boarding and lodging facilities to the students with well-built dormitories. The senior students have rooms shared by three of them. The children are
well looked after by a trained matron who is there with them 24 hrs a days and takes care of every little need of theirs.
All senior students in the school are divided into four houses: Ranjit, Nalwa, Ajit & Attari named after great idols Maharaja Ranjit Singh, Hari Singh Nalwa, Sahibjada Ajit Singh and Shyam Singh Attari. The tiny tots of the school i.e. K.G. to 3rd belong to the Holding house where they are provided special and personal care under thy supervision of their hostel supervisors and House Mistress who also ensures that all students are treated equally, emotional security, guidance and comfort
The junior children have well-lit, beautifully decorated, spacious and well ventilated dormitory system and the seniors have their personal rooms shared by 3-4 students each student has an individual cupboard, work-area and bed allocated.
A resident student at GNFC is taught the foundations of attitude and skills, preparing every student for life “beyond school”. Boarders are taught the art of dressing to perfection, presenting a neat and orderly appearance with lessons in tidiness and importance of a disciplined and healthy life.
Same system is followed in both the schools (Vincent hill the boys campus & Shangri-La the girls campus)
The mess, equipped with a modern and hygienic kitchen and utilities, experienced cooks, serves wholesome and delicious vegetarian food. The food arrangements, right from preparation to serving, are done under the strict supervision of the mess manager. Variety in the menu forms the spice of life. Every effort is taken to nourish the students with a balanced diet. The changes in menu are regularly done in consultation with a qualified dietician.
