RESCHEDULE OF DATES – FOUNDER’S DAY CELEBRATIONS – 2016

Dear Parents,

Greetings & Good wishes!

The children after the enjoyable educational tours to Patna Sahib- Bodh Gaya, Jaipur- Agra and Chandigarh are now busy pursuing their studies and actively participating in co-curricular activities.

I am glad to inform you that the children and staff have performed exceedingly well during the session and have brought accolades to the school.

Parents will be happy to note that in the India School Rankings Survey conducted by Education World with C-fore Guru Nanak Fifth Centenary School has emerged India’s No. 8. Residential School. In the Uttarakhand School Merit awards 2016 GNFCS is Ranked No. 1 for “Value for Money,” and “Exemplary Contribution to the Field of Education.”

Our children have also made a mark and brought laurels. Master Udai Singh was awarded a Gold Medal at the Uttarakhand State Shooting Championship in the 10 mts Air Rifle Youth Championship, and Miss Anu Grewal was selected to play in the state Uttarakhand Basket Ball team.

Emphasis upon attaining academic excellence goes without saying. You are already aware of the excellent board results and grades achieved by children in the 2016 board exam. It is our endeavor that children do exceedingly well in the promotion examination to be held in the month of November.

This is also to inform you that the Founder’s Day celebration which was scheduled in October 2016 will now be celebrated on 23rd of November, 2016. Invitation cards and details of the programme will follow later. Parents are hereby requested to make their travel plans accordingly.

Parents will be permitted to take their wards home on 23rd November, 2016 after the Founder’s Day Celebration is over. They can also collect them on 24th November, 2016 if they wish so.

With warm regards

Anil Tewari
